basic menu 4
orientation: mainmenu horizontal/submenu vertical bottom to top
overall alignment: window bottom
- similar to the basic menu 1 (see there for more info)
- different are the colours, sizes, etc. (I want to make some colour scheme samples as well, so here is all in brown shades, dark/light text mixed)
- an icon (coffeebean, transparant gif, 20px in height) has been applied for the over states of submenuitems and given some x,y values to position fine
- special here is that the menu is placed at the bottom of the browser window (which is controlled by setting the position of the menucontaining layer/div in the GoLive layer inspector or css editor, bottom: 28px;)
- as users sometimes have their window narrow due to some sidebars of the browser it's better to position the menu not at 0px, but at about 10px from bottom to prevent a possible horizontal scrollbar to overlap the mainmenu. alternatively make the distance of itemtext from itembottom (format/pad y) larger, so you still can have the menu bgcolours go exactly to the window edge
- when doing such (sub)menues keep in mind that some user's window estate might only be 400px in height, so don't make it too high, otherwise he/she cannot see the whole menu (as the menu disappears when he moves cursor out for scrolling)
(for demonstration only - no pagelinks added to the items)
